The BASH returns to Buffalo RiverWorks on Saturday, September 23, 2023. While in the final stages of planning last year’s BASH, we lost our Founding President, Doug Baker. His courage and tireless efforts left a permanent mark on many whose lives were improved or saved because of his vision. This signature fundraiser will help us to provide access to high quality 24/7 emergency transportation for all those in need and continue Mr. Baker’s legacy.
“The BASH fundraiser is our major fundraiser and is crucial for us as it helps offset the ever-increasing costs of providing Emergency Medical Service to our community,” said Scott Wooton, Executive Vice President.
Established in 1981, Mercy Flight has executed more than 31,000 patient missions by air and tens of thousands more by ground ambulance and has truly been a Beacon of Hope to those in need, WHEN MINUTES MATTER. As a nonprofit organization, we pride ourselves on performing vital services without regard to a patient’s insurance status or ability to pay. While third-party payers reimburse a portion of each flight’s true cost, we rely heavily on the generosity of the community to help us maintain response readiness.
Tickets for the BASH, featuring Nerds Gone Wild, DJ Milk, a spectacular Skylighters fireworks show, food, beverages, silent auction, and much more, are available starting at $50 each for a four-pack, $65 each for a two-pack, and $75 for an individual ticket.
